With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry and event coordination, Lauren has built a reputation for her intuitive planning, genuine care, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless execution. She believes that forming a genuine connection with each couple is essential to the planning process and is dedicated to creating events that truly reflect their unique personalities and visions. These ideals and the incredible clients she has worked with inspired Lauren to start Betrothed and Bound.
Caitlin Shoe Thompson
Caitlin has worked in the wedding industry for over 3 years, with nearly 20 years of experience in the events and hospitality field. She is originally from Huntersville, NC, and attended UNC Chapel Hill (GO HEELS)! She traveled all over the country before settling in Wilmington in 2012.
Caitlin’s favorite part of event planning is the relationship that is born as a result of the collaboration between client and planner. Relationships are the most valued part of Caitlin’s life, and this is always reflected in her work, just as it is at home. She enjoys spending time (and creating beautiful chaos) with her husband, Chad, and their two daughters, Layla and Ivy.
