FAQs
How do I choose the right planning package for me?
We’ll help you figure that out! During your initial consultation with Betrothed & Bound, we’ll talk through your vision, needs, and comfort level so we can recommend the package that’s the best fit for your wedding.
What’s included in full planning compared to partial planning?
Full planning starts early — usually about a year out — and covers everything from vendor sourcing and budget management to design and logistics. We’ll walk with you every step of the way, curating a cohesive plan and bringing your vision to life. Partial planning is best for couples who already have their venue and a few key vendors booked but need help managing the rest and tying it all together with a polished design plan.
Do you offer day-of coordination?
We don’t, and here’s why: it’s impossible to provide the level of care and organization we’re known for without being involved ahead of time. The connection and trust we build with our couples and vendors is what makes the day run seamlessly.
Can you work within a specific budget?
Absolutely. Whether your celebration is intimate or elaborate, we’ll help you prioritize what matters most and stay on track. Our Wilmington-area weddings typically range between $50K–$80K, but we plan for all sizes and styles of events.
Do you coordinate the ceremony rehearsal?
Yes! We’ll schedule and lead your ceremony rehearsal to make sure everyone in your wedding party knows exactly where to be and when.
What if I’m still figuring out my wedding style?
That’s one of our favorite parts. We’ll help you explore inspiration, narrow down ideas, and create a design plan that feels true to you — from the color palette to the tiniest details.
Will you help us find vendors we’ll love?
Yes — the amount of support depends on your service. Full planning couples get help sourcing every vendor, while partial planning couples get assistance with three. For month-of coordination, we provide a trusted preferred vendor list featuring professionals we’ve worked with throughout Wilmington and beyond.
Do we have to use your preferred vendors?
Not at all. We love our vendor partners, but we’re always open to meeting new ones. Our only priority is making sure your team delivers the quality, style, and professionalism your wedding deserves.
When will your team arrive and leave?
Our planners are typically onsite for up to 12 hours, ensuring everything runs perfectly from setup to sendoff. If you need us longer, we can always add additional time. During this time we handle much everything — from setting up décor and managing vendors to keeping the timeline on track and making sure your personal items are safely packed up at the end of the night. We stay until the last vendor leaves
How big is your team?
Most weddings include your principal planner, Lauren Mary Corbett, plus at least one assistant. Larger weddings or multi-location events may have additional team members to make sure everything flows effortlessly.
